  2. How much can I win?

  3. When is the race?
    Saturday, September 26, 2026, at 11:00am.
  4. Where does the race start?
The ducks will be released into Spencer Creek from the Ogilvie Street Bridge in Dundas, Ontario, and will finish near the Thorpe Street Bridge.
  5. Are spectators welcome?
Yes. There will be a viewing area in the southwest corner of the Metro Dundas Valley parking lot where it abuts Spencer Creek. Metro Dundas Valley is located at 15 Governors Road, Dundas. The race will conclude near Thorpe Street, but there are no viewing opportunities at this location. Video of the winning ducks will be streamed and relayed to the starting area.
  6. Do I need to be present to win?
No, winners will be contacted by the Rotary Club of Dundas Valley Sunrise.
  7. Can I request a specific ticket number?
No. Ticket numbers correspond to unique numbers on the rubber ducks, and the individual names associated with the numbers on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place ducks collected at the finish line will be awarded prizes.
  8. What if the event is canceled due to inclement weather?
If the race cannot occur as scheduled due to weather, water conditions, or other circumstances beyond our control, the Dundas Valley Foundation (Rotary Club of Dundas Valley Sunrise) will decide by 9:00am on September 26, 2026 whether the race will proceed. If the race does not take place, winners will be determined using a random number generator provided by Raffle Nexus Canada Inc. no later than 7:00pm on Tuesday, September 29, 2026.
  9. What are the odds of winning?
Chances are 1 in 1,000 (total tickets for sale) to win a prize. Actual odds depend on the total number of qualified (paid) tickets sold.
